Tragedie delle proporzioni di quella che ha colpito Haiti sono una miniera di storie da raccontare. Una di queste stavolta è quella di Sanjay Gupta, medico, giornalista e capo del servizio Medicina, salute e benessere della Cnn. Gupta è arrivato ad Haiti subito dopo il terremoto in veste di giornalista, per fare alcuni reportage e diversi collegamenti quotidiani. Poi è entrato in un ospedale e non ne è uscito più, come ha raccontato su Twitter.

pulling all nighter at haiti field hosp. lots of work, but all patients stable. turned my crew into a crack med team tonight.

we lost all generator power. sun will come up in about 30 minutes. now confident we will get all these patients through the night
